About the Role:
We are looking for a TechBar Analyst to deliver high-quality, face to face support and play a hands on role in our evolving IT landscape. You'll be part of our on-site team helping colleagues with their day-to-day tech needs and playing an active role in our wider IT transformation.
The role sits within our Workplace Technology Team and its purpose is to ensure the IT services at our Brackley site are well supported and maintained. Use your people skills and problem-solving talent to ensure that customers get swift resolutions to technical problems of every kind, In it you will:
Be the first point of contact for IT Incidents and Service Requests at the IT TechBar
Use your knowledge of hardware and software to identify where technical issues may originate from and escalate to or educate others on the team through updating or adding to our Service Knowledgebase.
Setup and provision requested hardware and accessories for handover at the IT TechBar
Offer advice and training to customers on usage and best practices of IT Technologies
Contribute to the future of the department by adding to our Service Improvement Plans.
Work with our vendors and the IT Team to maintain hardware stock availability and software licence compliance.
Maintain a strong customer focus through great customer service.
Work in a fast-paced environment ensuring SLAs and targets are met.

To be successful you will have:
End User hardware configuration and troubleshooting
User account administration in Azure Active Directory
Active Directory, DHCP and DNS administration and troubleshooting
Administration of Office365
Strong understanding of the Windows10 and 11 desktop environment
Networking including LAN and VPN
Administering iOS devices via an MDM solution
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Enthusiastic about technology and be motivated and service driven
Proven experience as an IT Technical Support Engineer, IT Technician, or similar role.
Desirable:
Experience of the ServiceNow ITSM platform
CompTIA Network+ Certification
MAC OSX Administration
Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Certification
CompTIA Network+ Certification
ITIL Foundation (v3 or ITIL4)
Linux OS Administration
