Role:Enterprise Systems Industrial Placement
About the Department:
Enterprise systems provide support for PLM, CRM and Manufacturing execution systems, ensuring the systems work to enable the release and manufacturing of all parts. The team also manage numerous in-house managed applications, and support designers with issues with CAD work (NX), making bespoke changes to support the business throughout the season.
Role Overview:
As an Enterprise Systems Industrial Placement, you will be at the heart of our Enterprise Systems team, where you’ll work directly with customers to understand new requirements and current pinch points, source solutions within the core systems and support the development lifecycle. This role provides a full understanding from designing a part through to its manufacture, and subsequent use on the Car. You will understand how the parts are developed through design and the Aerodynamics CFD and Stress processes. Also, how we inspect parts post manufacture and how they perform. This is a new team which allows you to be part of the continuous transformation within the organisation.
As an Enterprise Systems Industrial Placement, you will:
• Work with customers to understand issues
• Work directly with technical teams to design solutions
• Align work priorities and deliver required results
• Keep clear communications on progress
• Ensure testing and release processes are followed
The ideal candidate will have the following:
• Understanding of NX/Teamcenter, D365 with awareness of programming languages
• Strong communication skills with an analytic approach to problem solving.
• Awareness of Teamcenter/NX
• C# programming
• API/JSON
• Self-starter who can pick apart problems
• Able to work as a part of a project (Waterfall and Agile)
• Clear communication skills
