We have an opportunity for a Tyre Performance Engineer to join the Andretti Cadillac Team at the new Silverstone Facility. This role is responsible for supporting the race team in tyre performance optimization at each event, both at the track and from the factory. This includes assisting in the development of bespoke tools for analyzing tyre performance, as well as contributing to continuous improvement of operational processes at the factory and at the track. This role is also responsible for assisting with tyre testing activities and tyre model correlation, as well as providing engineering support for car development, looking at future years for expected tyre performance and behavior. Principal Accountabilities:
Supporting the race team in tyre performance optimization and tyre management during the event (either trackside or from the factory).
Completing mandatory tyre reporting on time and to a high standard
Assisting development of tyre performance tools, methods, and infrastructure
Continuously improving operational processes at the track and the factory
Developing and maintaining department administration and reporting procedures
Assisting with tyre testing activities and tyre model correlation
Looking at future years for expected tyre performance and behavior
