Job Overview
This internship is part of the Wellbeing Health & Safety (WHS) team within a multinational industrial environment and offers the opportunity to develop practical skills in workplace health and safety. The intern will support the RSPP (Prevention and Protection Service Manager) team in managing key safety topics, with a particular focus on risks related to product development and technology environments (PDT). Throughout the experience, the intern will gain exposure to safety regulations, support operational activities, and contribute to fostering a strong safety culture.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the intern include but are not limited to the following:
- Monitoring and reporting safety performance indicators in compliance with local regulations and corporate standards;
- Supporting data analysis to identify potential risks and propose preventive measures;
- Collaborating with WHS teams on the design and implementation of safety improvement projects;
- Participating in audits, inspections and workplace assessments to ensure compliance with internal policies and legal requirements;
- Contributing to the promotion of a strong safety culture by supporting communication and training initiatives.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Bachelor or Master’s degree (ongoing) in Engineering (Environmental, Safety, Industrial, Mechanical or Management Engineering), Occupational Health and Safety / Prevention Techniques in Workplaces, or related fields
- Strong interest in occupational health and safety, wellbeing, risk prevention, and regulatory compliance
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role and availability for a 6 month internship
- Ability and motivation to study and understand laws and compliance requirements
- Analytical mindset with good problem-solving and organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- High level of commitment and responsibility
- Interest in industrial environments and risk management (especially production/PDT context)
