As a Senior Statutory Accountant, you will prepare and review annual financial statements and management reports, interpret and implement statutory accounting requirements, and ensure adherence to local legal and reporting frameworks.
You will drive consistency and quality across reporting processes, support audit activities by providing technical accounting guidance and documentation, and ensure timely resolution of audit queries.
You will also support operations with accountability for managing and monitoring all Finance processes and providing accurate and timely management information and reconciliations as required.
Additionally, you will provide technical analysis and feedback regarding the impact of projects, upgrades, and modifications.
To be successful in this role, you will need a relevant degree (BSc) and several years of working experience, especially in IFRS and/or German GAAP.
You will also need fluency in English, with German being an advantage.
Demonstrated process expertise in statutory areas, especially Statutory accounts preparation and Audit processes, is essential.
You will also need to demonstrate the ability to use a wide range of systems and application tools and techniques.
Strong analytical skills, numeracy, and financial understanding are also required.
Finally, you will need strong communication and cooperation skills, as well as self-confidence in relation to internal and external contacts.
