As a senior technician within production, specifically the paint shop, you will take on a role in ensuring the seamless and efficient operation within one of our paint zonal areas. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure all health and safety guidelines are adhered to, the paint process (PES) is followed to ensure a smooth finish to our supercars, and the desired standard is achieved through our built-in quality stations.
Your contributions will be instrumental in achieving our ambitious goals as a company. You will be responsible for ensuring that your station operations on each vehicle are completed within takt and to a high standard. You will also be able to escalate to your leader any concerns that may be affecting the quality, cost, or productivity of the panels being painted.
In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining standards set such as using the uniform/clothing provided, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and team members, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
The technician must always adhere to safety protocols. You will participate in continuous improvement activities as requested by your leader, and flexibility with the ability to learn is essential to ensure coverage within the zone as you would be expected to learn multiple processes.
You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including the painting of vehicles, and will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard.
