Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Plan and execute simulation-based risk assessment to address project technical risks identified during early phase
- Recommend risk mitigation strategies to achieve robustness (e.g. design change, process optimization, etc.)
- Offer physics-based explanations to his/her customers’ problems and suggest appropriate counter measures
- Participate in generating Design Rules, Invention Disclosures and Patents in collaboration with various DEV partners
- Develop new simulation methods and/or enhance methods to improve prediction accuracy
- Provide technical guidance & coaching to junior colleagues thru knowledge sharing
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Master’s or PhD Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Material Science,etc.), Mathematics, Physics or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience
- Hands-on experience using ANSYS Mechanical (or equivalent software) fortress analysis
- Knowledgeable in modeling non-linear material behavior (e.g., viscoelasticity, creep, fatigue, etc.)
- Backend Assembly Process experience and related tooling design know-how is an advantage
- Ability to communicate complex technical solutions in a way that clients clearly understand
- Agility and adaptability to adjust to dynamic changes in customer requirements
- Creativity in finding new ways to solve technical problems
- Interpersonal skills (including active listening, social perceptiveness and ability to handle feedback)
- Customer service beyond what is expected
