We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for solving maintenance-related problems with minimal interruption to production. You will perform all maintenance and repair work in either plant or grounds, troubleshoot in the plant, offices, all systems, and grounds as required, and maintain up-to-date documentation of all equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a Millwright license, 5 years of experience, and experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. You will also have experience in MIG, TIG, and stick welding, good knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes, and experience with industrial machine repair.
As a Millwright, you will be required to work the afternoon or night shift, participate in the Preventative Maintenance Program and downtime reduction process, and actively participate in the development and implementation of the latest technologies to improve productivity and/or quality.
In addition, you will be required to participate in all maintenance-related training to upgrade skills and knowledge to meet changing technologies, customer, government, and health and safety requirements. You will also make recommendations to improve equipment efficiency and reduce costs, prepare a list of all problems encountered during the shift and other necessary reports, and advise the Facility and Plant Project Manager and/or the Facility Supervisor of any potential problems and offer solutions.
The total cash compensation range for this position is expected to be $27.72 - $51.44 per hour.
