What you'll doAs a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the manufacture of high-performance braking components for motorsport applications. Your key responsibilities will include:- Programming and optimising CNC machining operations (3–5 axis) using HyperMILL for calipers, brackets, housings, and other brake components.- Creating and updating 3D models and technical drawings in SolidWorks.- Improving machining processes for performance, accuracy, and reduced cycle times.- Working closely with machinists and quality engineers to resolve manufacturing issues and ensure tight-tolerance component quality.- Producing setup sheets, work instructions, and production documentation.- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance repeatability and throughput.## What you needTo succeed in this role, you will need:- Experience in CNC programming and production engineering within precision or motorsport manufacturing.- Proficiency in HyperMILL and SolidWorks.- Strong understanding of machining metals (e.g., aluminum, cast iron) and GD&T.- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.## Why this mattersThis role is critical to the success of Alcon's motorsport braking systems.
