What you'll do
As a Bodywork Technician, you'll be a key member in producing and preparing high-quality bodywork and composite components for our motorsport programmes, working to exacting standards to ensure optimum performance and reliability.
- Assembling and trimming carbon fibre and composite components.
- Perform strip down, inspection and repairs following each event and reporting any faults to meet tight deadlines.
- Working from technical drawings and patterns to ensure accuracy.
- Support the repair and maintenance of carbon fibre and GRP panels.
- Prepare components for painting and final fitment.
- Maintaining high standards of finish and attention to detail.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the workshop environment.
What you need
We're looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. The ideal candidate will be:
- Educated to a technician level, with a thorough understanding of bodywork, composites, motorsport, or a related field.
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings and follow build documentation.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Skilled in multitasking and prioritising workloads in a time sensitive environment.
- Excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for problem solving.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
