Job description and responsibilities
Reporting to the Safety, Control, and Quality Department, you will ensure the regulatory and operational compliance of events organized by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (24 Hours of Le Mans Motorcycle Race, French Motorcycle Grand Prix, 24 Hours of Le Mans Car Race, Le Mans Classic, etc.), as well as regulatory monitoring of all buildings throughout the year. You will ensure the quality of services, the safety of personnel, and the reduction of environmental impact.
You will be required to:
Develop quality procedures for each type of event (specifications, supplier monitoring, control plan),
Ensure compliance of technical services (infrastructure, signage, technical areas),
Managing internal and external audits (premises, service providers, equipment),
To support the various inspection bodies in their missions,
Ensure the compliance of installations with applicable standards (Labour Code, ERP, ICPE),
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and environmental standards.
Analyze risks, accidents, incidents, dangerous situations and implement corrective actions,
Raising awareness and ensuring follow-up training for staff on accident prevention and the processes to be implemented,
Coordinate the drafting of regulatory documents (DUERP, prevention plan, fire permit, safety protocol),
Supervise the safety of the facilities (temporary structures, stands, power supply, demonstration areas),
Interact with emergency services and all local authorities,
Organize and participate in pre-event safety committees,
Update the sports venue approval file (departmental and national commission),
To propose and implement eco-responsible approaches adapted to the different events: fuels, noise, emissions,
Ensure proper management of waste on site (liquids, tires, oils, batteries),
Monitor environmental indicators (emissions, carbon footprint, resource consumption).
Desired profile
Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree (Bac +3) to a Master's degree (Bac +5) in QSE, HSE, environmental management or engineering with a specialization in automotive/event management.
You have proven experience in a similar role, with significant field experience, ideally in the automotive or sporting events sector.
You have a strong grasp of the challenges related to event security (adaptability, demountable structures, stands, public) and QSE tools (DUERP, checklists, action plans, audits),
You have knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 20121, 45001) and regulations for public access buildings (ERP), classified installations for environmental protection (ICPE), and the organization of public events.
You are organized, meticulous, and have an eye for detail.
You are proactive and know how to react quickly to complex/emergency situations,
You have excellent interpersonal skills,
Proficiency in professional English would be an asset for this position.
A category B driving licence is essential.
