Job description and duties
Reporting to the Technical Manager, the Technical Delegate will join the ACO's permanent team, responsible for developing and implementing technical regulations. He will mainly work on the ALMS and ELMS
championships , as well as their supporting championships, and will represent the ACO with manufacturers, competitors and partner federations.
You will be required to:
Before the events:
•Independently manage the technical aspects of the events organized by the ACO
•Train control teams in conjunction with Management
•Prepare technical notes and bulletins
•Organize technical controls and ensure the link with officials
During the events:
•Assume the role of Technical Delegate, in accordance with the International Sporting Code
•Carry out technical checks (initial, unannounced, final)
•Produce reports and statements in accordance with best practice
After the events:
•Participate in operational and technical debriefings
•Produce detailed reporting
•Contribute to the development of technical and sporting regulations (LMP2, LMP3, LMGT3)
Across:
•Coordinate the activity of the specialized centers (Operations, Performance, Electronics) within the championship scope
Profile sought
Profile sought:
•General engineering diploma (e.g. mechanics)
•First successful experience in motorsport (engineer, operations, etc.)
•Resistance to stress, diplomacy, rigor and discretion
•Comfort with remote work
• Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken
•Proficiency in the Office Pack and collaborative tools (MS Teams, Google Drive, SharePoint, etc.)
•Availability for approximately 10 trips per year, including weekends and public holidays

The ACO is the creator and organizer of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which has been held since 1923 on the legendary Le Mans circuit.
