WHAT TASKS AWAIT YOU:
Development and implementation of algorithms for vehicle state estimation based on Kalman filters
Further development of the development environment in Matlab/Simulink
Programming in C code for embedded systems
Analysis and design of software architectures considering functional safety requirements (ISO 26262) up to ASIL D
Execution of software tests and validation of the developed functions
Design of the specification and implementation of safety requirements at ASIL level
Analysis and plausibility checks of IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) signals and monitoring functions, ideally with experience in the context of vehicle dynamics or autonomous driving applications
Close collaboration with other development areas (e.g., sensors, actuators, driver assistance systems)
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, control engineering, or comparable qualifications
Sound knowledge of programming with C code
Experience in the application of Kalman filters for vehicle state estimation
Experience with Matlab/Simulink
Sound knowledge of functional safety (ISO 26262) and ideally experience in developing safety-critical software up to ASIL D
Knowledge of IMU sensors and their signal processing
Ideally, experience with embedded systems and Automotive SPICE
High level of initiative, teamwork, and analytical thinking
Good written and spoken German and English skills
