Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines to collect, process, and store large volumes of structured and unstructured data from various sources Build and maintain data infrastructure, including databases, data warehouses, and ETL/ELT processes, ensuring data integrity, reliability and performance Develop, train, and deploy AI models to support business analytics and predictive use cases, working closely with other functions in IFX to productionize models Collaborate within Business Analytics team and directly with Product Line to understand data needs and deliver solutions that enable effective reporting, visualization, and analysis Implement data quality checks and monitoring systems to ensure accuracy and consistency of data Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy policies As a Data Senior Engineer & Analyst, you have a clear notion of how innovation contributes to the commercial success of the company. Furthermore, you focus your efforts on finding solutions that offer added value for both sides. Lastly, you take on new challenges without knowing the right path to an eventual solution in advance Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Informatics or a related field (Master's preferred) At least 1 year of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role Proficiency in programming languages such as Python for data processing, pipeline development, and AI model development Strong experience with SQL and relational/non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redshift) Familiarity with managing and optimizing scheduled workflows on virtual machines or orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Jenkins, or similar) Knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and ETL/ELT processes Experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn) and building or training machine learning/AI models Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau Fluency in English, German is a plus - Automotive (ATV) shapes the future of mobility with micro-electronics enabling clean, safe and smart cars - Semiconductors are essential to realize key trends like eMobility, automated driving and secure, connected cars.
