As the Warehouse Implementation Support Manager you will support the relocation of our Parts warehouse from two sites into a new location. You will be tasked with developing a detailed plan, ensure SAP mirrors all moves and physical designs. Provide support to the wider Parts team ensuring business as usual continues and keep clear robust communication with all necessary stakeholders throughout the project.
This is a 12month fixed term contract.
Responsibilities:
- Completion of actions defined on the warehouse relocation project plan
- Organisation and co-ordination of suppliers
- Engagement with Temp Agencies
- Hold interviews, induction and training sessions
- Support the physical laying out of building
- Update project status reports
- Monitor physical stock levels and movements vs SAP
- Implement site health and safety and other work standards
- Supervise the transfer of stock to the new site
- Be hands on from the shop floor throughout the physical move
- Co-ordinate transport movements for the physical move
- Supervise the exit of DC2
- Ensure all system transactions are completed fully
- Implement quality checks to uphold stock integrity
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience in warehouse operations and implementation projects
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Project management skills
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience with automation and advanced warehouse technologies
- Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with reporting tools
- Knowledge of industry best practices and compliance standards
