What you'll do
As a Formula 1 Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of innovative technologies and solutions for the Audi F1 Project. Your primary focus will be on the design, development, and testing of the Power Unit and chassis components.
- Design and develop Power Unit and chassis components using advanced computer-aided design (CAD) software and simulation tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of components and systems
- Conduct testing and validation of components and systems to ensure compliance with F1 regulations and performance targets
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports to support project progress and decision-making
- Participate in design reviews and technical meetings to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives
What you need
To succeed in this role, you will need a strong background in mechanical engineering, a passion for motorsport, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the motorsport or automotive industry
- Strong knowledge of CAD software, simulation tools, and testing methodologies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions
Nice to have
- Experience with F1 regulations and technical requirements
