Pay Information
Wages ranging from $20.59 - $26.93 (Varies based on tenure at the South Carolina manufacturing plant.)
Job Purpose
Process Trainers are process experts who administer effective training promptly that ensure the readiness and development of associates' technical process skills & technical knowledge to meet organizational needs regarding achieving departmental and company-level key performance indicators.
Process Trainer evaluates and measures the skill level of both new and existing associates, identifies maturation gaps, analyses results, and creates/determines a specified training plan for incompetence.
Process Trainer is an expert in administering virtual training, static training, and dynamic training.
Key Accountabilities
Administer technical virtual training, static training & administer dynamic training for new hires & trainees.
Assess/evaluate the trainee’s skill level and make a judgment.
Investigate process issues, decide action plans, and execute to mitigate “process-related” Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery issues. Utilize QC tools. Take action to close Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery gaps.
Arrange for and conduct specialized training in the training lab when needed. Organize training sessions specific to areas of improvement for associates struggling in the process.
Determine a strategy for cross-training and execute as needed for production flexibility.
Feedback quality data, Repair non-conformances, and decide mitigation action for defects and downtime.
Prepare training material etc., update and maintain all documents throughout the training process. Training Documents, Proficiency Skill Matrix, PCRF (process change request form) for PDDA (process, data, development analysis) update.
Support New Model build events and Quality Control events and administer training
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Minimum Educational Qualifications
High school diploma / GED
Minimum Experience
1 year of full time/contingent South Carolina Manufacturing experience
Train the trainer- TWI Certification (Training within the industry) is a strong asset

Proven experience capability for a technical process trainer
Process Trainers must be extremely knowledgeable in their field of expertise and possess solid process technical aptitude.
Decisions Expected
Analyze training results to trigger improvement and decide action.
Administer test, evaluate trainee maturation level, decide next action, and execute.
Strategize, decide plan, and execute cross-training activity.
Manage multiple situations at one time.
Develop strong manufacturing characteristics and sustainability by evaluating process capability and initiating process improvements through PCRF (process change request form) flow.
Pay attention to detail and have good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Produce training schedules, and classroom agenda, determine training content according to objectives, and execute training sessions with trainees.
Working Conditions
Must have the ability and willingness to work additional overtime hours with short notice.
Potential traveling
Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends when needed to maintain schedule.
Spending time in training area & assembly line
Not currently on leave of absence or open extended leave
