Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. The new team has three locations. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. We have recently opened Sauber Motorsport Technology Center in the UK. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations with support from the UK. What you need? The mindset of an athlete. Your mission
Collaborate closely with aerodynamicists and CFD engineers to create high-quality aerodynamic surfacesDesign and develop complex surface models using CATIA 3DExperience Continuously refine and enhance our sophisticated surface modeling methodologiesContribute directly to the aerodynamic performance of the race car through rapid iteration and cross-functional teamworkDrive innovative aerodynamic concepts within the CAD environmentPrepare and optimize CAD models for CFD simulation in collaboration with aerodynamicists
Your profile
Technical education: background in design (technical college), mechanical engineering (university of applied sciences), or technical design with relevant experienceMinimum 2 years of experience in surface design—motorsport (Formula 1) experience is a plusExpert-level skills in CATIA (V5/V6/3Dx) and deep knowledge of the GSD (Generative Shape Design) workbenchStrong spatial awareness, visualization skills, and creative problem-solving abilityHighly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently under pressureStrong team player with excellent communication and collaboration skillsSelf-driven, pragmatic, and passionate about cutting-edge technology and motorsportFluent in English; German skills are an advantage
