Description-
Interfacing between onsite production and design in Germany. Analyzing and problem-solving of design-related issues affecting production. Hands-on support with line trials, concept validation, and implementation of hardware changes.
The Qualified intern should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:
- Steering and organizing line-trials in collaboration with design and production.
- Directing problem-solving teams within the plant as a design representative.
- Keeping our team Confluence (Wiki) content up to date.
- Running and steering projects and problem-solving teams to address unforeseen production challenges.
Required Qualifications:
- Engineering degree (mechanical or automotive).
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on the US grading scale
- Must be enrolled at a university outside of the United States.
- Must have completed a prior BMW internship of at least 3 months in length.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
- Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
- Work term dates are from March 09, 2026 to September 18, 2026.
