Description:- Operations Steering (TV-541).
- Understanding of how the business operates, understanding F2 targets and KPI’s. Willingness to take on projects that affect the daily business.
- Quality and Packaging (TV-542).
- Knowledge or understanding of quality control processes and packaging designs/standards.
- Process Engineering (TV-543).
- Improve logistics processes through the implementation of digitalization (Power BI, DataRobot, Celonis, and other data analytics tools) and VPS methods (value stream mapping, waste reduction, kaizen).
The qualified Intern should expect to contribute & improve the following functions: - The position will be supporting the department and would support one or combination of the areas based on applicant skills and interest.
- Operations Steering (TV-541):
- Involved in daily reporting of Inbound and Outbound (Air Freight, Sea Freight) topics. Working with outside BMW departments and LSP (Logistics Service Provider) to ensure daily goals are achieved.
- Tracking LSP to ensure their daily performance is on track to meet assigned targets.
- Tracking of daily warehouse inventory levels to ensure even flow of material.
- Quality and Packaging (TV-542):
- Combination of responsibilities focused on ensuring product quality and effective packaging solutions.
- Focusing on preventative measures and ensuring that established quality standards are followed at each stage. Packaging materials and designs to ensure they meet performance.
- Process Engineering (TV-543):
- Find and implement solutions for more effective processes in all warehouse functions (Goods Receiving, Packing, Goods Issue, Quality, Yard) both physically and digitally
- Managing timeline and deliverables of individual and teams project to add value to both direct and indirect processes
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications: - Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
- Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week).
- Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
- MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT.
- Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
- THE WORK TERM DATES ARE Spring: January 12 – May 15, 2026.
Preferred Degree in one of the following:
- Operations Steering (TV-541): Pursuing Bachelors Degree in Business Management or Supply Chain Management preferred.
- Quality and Packaging (TV-542): Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field such as Quality Management, Engineering (Packing, Mechanical, Industrial) or prior experience in Quality Assurance, industry, manufacturing.
- Process Engineering (TV-543).
- Pursuing degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or IT.
