Key Responsibilities Leading structural analysis of components and assemblies using a mix of hand calculations and FEA (preferably Altair/Hypermesh).
Delivering high-quality reports, feedback, and actionable insights to design teams.
Providing technical oversight through peer reviews, mentoring, and team development.
Managing project targets, timelines, and multi-tasking across concurrent projects.
Developing and enhancing tools and processes to improve analytical efficiency and accuracy.
Contributing to material/process research and regulatory compliance.
Collaborating cross-functionally to resolve issues arising in design, testing, and manufacturing.
Driving concept generation and innovation across structural design.
Supporting project tracking, reporting, and use of engineering business systems.
Representing the Structures function in meetings with senior stakeholders when required. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Motorsport Engineering or similar.
Extensive experience in F1, elite motorsport, or high-end technology environments.
Deep expertise in structural analysis using FEA; ideally Altair Hypermesh.
Proficient in hand calculations and tool development; Python experience is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to lead on technical content and present to senior stakeholders/directors.
Strong mentoring and coaching capability within an engineering team environment.
Proven ability in project ownership, time management, and delivery.
