Key Responsibilities Designing and developing composite components from concept to completion, including packaging, surfacing, and tooling.
Producing detailed CAD models, assembly drawings, and laminate specifications.
Collaborating closely with structures, production, and aerodynamic teams to ensure structural integrity and performance.
Driving continuous improvement through iterative testing and design refinement.
Resolving technical issues during manufacturing, testing, and development.
Supporting project planning, mass tracking, compliance, and progress reporting.
Contributing to innovation, business systems, patent applications, and best practices. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Motorsport Engineering or similar.
Experience in Formula 1, high-level motorsport or a leading tech/engineering company.
Strong proficiency in CATIA V6/3DX, with surfacing and solid modelling skills.
Working knowledge of GD&T, composite materials, lightweight design principles, and fastener selection.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, Power BI).
Skilled in managing pressure, adapting to rapid change, and working as part of a collaborative team.
Effective communicator with a proactive and professional approach.
Commitment to safety, quality, and innovation in all aspects of engineering.
