As a team, we…
...develop and operate the IT systems (software, mobile data centers, network infrastructure) behind the scenes for the factory teams in Formula E, WEC, and IMSA, thus contributing to Porsche Motorsport's racing success. We also support Porsche customer motorsport with customized ERP solutions and CRM systems, thus contributing to Porsche Motorsport's business model. Motorsport IT ranges from the racetrack to the data center, and from software development to IT infrastructure operations. All of this is done by a team with a passion for motorsport and a truly hands-on mentality.
Start: March or September
Duration: 5 to 6 months
What awaits you?
During your internship, you can focus on one of the following areas, depending on your interests:
Software Engineering/Development: Frontend + Backend (especially Java, Python, C#, JS, React, .NET, SQL, noSQL, and Timeseries Databases)
ERP/CRM: SAP S/4 HANA, Salesforce
IT Infrastructure: Network technologies, virtualization, mobile data centers
Analytics: Data visualization/analysis, data pipelines, real-time analytics, data lakes
Requirements
What sets you apart? You have...
A place in computer science or a comparable degree program with a focus on computer science/data science/computer science/business informatics and are at least in your third semester or taking a gap year between your bachelor's and master's degree
A passion for motorsport
Good prior knowledge in one of the above-mentioned areas
Strong teamwork and communication skills
An independent, structured, and analytical working style, as well as a hands-on mentality
Very good English skills
