With the Intelligent Personal Assistant (IPA), BMW is developing an advanced voice control system for the BMW iDrive System. The IPA enables the control of various vehicle and infotainment functions using natural language and integrates additional 3rd-party services (e.g., Alexa, WeChat).
What awaits you?
- You support the development of the new BMW Voice Assistant.
- Conducting data analyses to enhance development processes.
- Performing in-car tests to ensure quality.
- Being part of an international development team.
- Contributing your own ideas and suggestions.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to solve challenges.
What should you bring along?
- Studies in computer science or a related field, at least in the 3rd semester.
- Programming skills in Python and SQL.
- Experience in data analysis, particularly with AWS services like Athena, QuickSight, Glue, and Lambda.
- Willingness to work 50% on-site at the BMW Research and Innovation Center.
- Very good English skills, both spoken and written; knowledge of German is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of initiative.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for high-quality work.
