Tasks
In the "Connect and Infotainment System" area, we develop not only infotainment, navigation, and Connect services, but also display and control systems and sound systems. The scope of development extends from the hardware and software for the vehicle's computer systems along the entire end-to-end chain, to the servers in the backend systems and data analysis using data analytics and AI, to the integration of the My Porsche smartphone app and the web front ends.
During your internship, you will gain comprehensive insights into the Porsche working world and, depending on your interests, support us in one of three U.S. For example, in the following projects and activities described in the specialist areas:
Pre-Development
Participation in the portfolio creation of the pre-development backlogs across all phases (ideation, approval, detailed planning, and maturity/budget tracking)
Support in planning and supporting the partner network
Support in trend and technology scouting
Participation in and programming of proof of concepts, minimum viable products, and prototypes in the innovation environment of infotainment and connect (AI, software-defined vehicle, display concepts, etc.)
System Integration and Testing
Participation on and in the vehicle during operation and software updates of our fleet.
Support in the planning and implementation of in-vehicle testing at home and abroad.
Participation in the development and documentation of use cases in stationary and moving vehicles.
Support in the programming of smartphone apps and PC tools for our commissioning tool chain.
Quality and Operations
Participation in analyses of vehicles, simulation environments, and the relevant backend systems.
Support with market analyses using AI database tools for use in search queries in specific databases in the areas of serial support and operations.
Support with the automation of report scopes in the areas of serial support and operations, using workflow management systems.
