Tasks
The Development of Body Systems for Cockpit, Center Console, and Interior Climate Control department offers internship opportunities across the entire physical and virtual process chain, from pre-development through the concept phase to series development. Cockpit Department: This department combines many highly sophisticated components that must meet the requirements of vehicle safety and (surface) quality. This results in numerous development activities, starting with the cockpit module cross member, which acts as the supporting framework of the cockpit, through cockpit integration, which involves coordinating the package and interfaces with other departments, to the instrument panel, which, with its attractive designs, high-quality materials, and many different decorative options, is the direct focus of the vehicle occupants. Interior Climate Control Department: This is where the air-conducting climate control system for all Porsche vehicles is developed. The overarching goal is to ensure air-side comfort in the interior. You will support us in developing a system from the intake system, including filtering, drying, and conditioning of the air, through the interior airflow and ventilation. This offers you exciting activities in CAD design, testing on test benches and complete vehicles, as well as in virtual functional development using state-of-the-art CFD simulation methods and AI tools. Center Console & Passenger Air Flow: Here, you can expect varied activities in the development of various components from the initial idea to series production. The center console is the heart of every vehicle interior and combines aesthetics with functionality, realized through complex kinematics. Innovative passenger air flow combines climate comfort with a unique design. The use of state-of-the-art simulation methods is an essential component of our development process.
