We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP BASIS Project Manager to lead a portfolio of SAP BASIS projects supporting from technical upgrades, systems roll outs, and up to strategic migrations to SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will have 10–15 years of SAP BASIS experience, including hands-on end-to-end SAP system upgrades, migrations, and technical leadership and project management. This role will be responsible for direct systems administration and support, coordinating BASIS technical teams across different regions and time zones, overseeing infrastructure readiness, managing vendor and internal stakeholder alignment, be integral part of project teams ensuring a seamless integration and roll out of new systems, up-to transitions to the new S/4HANA environments.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the SAP BASIS workstream for multiple projects, ensuring no impact to business operations and performance of the system.
Develop and maintain detailed technical project plans, timelines, and resource allocations specific to BASIS scope for multiple projects at a time.
Coordinate and oversee system migrations, upgrades, and cutover planning, including sandbox, development, QA, and production environments.
Serve as the primary liaison between infrastructure, BASIS, application, and project leadership teams.
Ensure effective vendor coordination and compliance with architectural and security standards.
Oversee system sizing, high availability, performance tuning, and disaster recovery planning.
Identify, assess, and manage BASIS-related risks and issues throughout the program lifecycle.
Provide regular executive-level status updates and reporting on milestones, issues, and dependencies.
