We’re looking for a Shop-Based Mechanic to join our team. This hands-on role is essential to ensuring our cars are prepped, inspected, and race-ready at the highest level of performance and quality.
As the Shop Based Mechanic, your day to day responsibilities will include:
- Assemble and prepare finished race car components for each event following detailed procedures
- Make necessary mechanical adjustments to ensure components meet design and performance specs
- Maintain an organized inventory of finished spare parts for race weekends
- Secure parts and components using proper mechanical fastening and joining techniques
- Accurately log adjustments and configurations for assigned race car components
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to meet build timelines and performance goals
- Operate shop equipment safely and consistently follow safety protocols
- Proactively identify and report safety issues or equipment concerns
- Travel occasionally to support the team at races, tests, or other events
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- 2-3 years of experience as a mechanic, preferably in motorsports industry
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge of race car mechanical components and structural frameworks.
- Understanding of race car setup specifications and safety mechanisms.
- Skilled in using precision measuring devices
