Reporting to the Head of Regulatory, you will contribute to the execution of the FIA’s regulatory and disciplinary powers, assist in legal proceedings before national and international courts, and draft legal opinions and documentation for both internal and external stakeholders.
MISSIONS AND RESPONSABILITIES:

Exercise of the FIA’s Regulatory Powers
Monitor the implementation of the International Sporting Code and contribute to its ongoing development
Analyse and follow up on regulatory proposals submitted to FIA bodies
Provide legal advice to the FIA Sport Departments and Sporting Commissions
Assist FIA-appointed officials on legal and procedural matters

Exercise of the FIA’s Disciplinary Powers
Review case files and prepare submissions for proceedings before:
International Tribunal
International Court of Appeal
Cost Cap Adjudication Panel
Anti-doping Disciplinary Committee
Represent the FIA in front of these tribunals
Contribute to the implementation and amendment of the Judicial and Disciplinary Rules in coordination with relevant FIA entities
Monitor and support the resolution of disputes before state courts

General Legal Support
Provide legal advice and assistance on various cases
Draft legal opinions, replies, proposals, and regulatory interpretation
Conduct legal research and prepare reports and analyses
PROFILE:
Master’s degree in law (bachelor’s degree required; specialisation in Sports Law is a plus)
1 to 3 years of experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel
Experience in an international sports organisation is a strong asset
Knowledge of Swiss, French, or English law is desirable
Languages: English (proficient/native), French (working level); any other language is a plus
Strong legal analysis and drafting abilities
Clear and effective communication
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
High level of professional integrity and discretion
Demonstrated interest in sport and international legal frameworks
