Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role Infineon Technologies is a global leading supplier of highly-secured electronic components for electronic identity documents like passport, identity card, driver license, health and social security card, among others. Define the Go to Market (G2M) strategy for your assigned region(s) and steer the identified business opportunities Develop and extend an application-oriented network with local and international players in both Government and Industry for the assigned regions of responsibility Capture application requirements and drive actions to commercialize products for the applications Analyze market, ecosystem and competitors in the value chain using regional input and derive key implications and suggestions to calibrate our business strategies Refine and tailor continuously our value propositions for the communication towards customers and potential partners Support sales and business development activities on application level Drive and support selected ID projects by close cooperation with external and internal stakeholders to win new business for Infineon Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed As a Business Development Manager for Government ID, you commit yourself to the results of your own team and the company as a whole. Furthermore, you take on new challenges without knowing the right path to an eventual solution in advance. Lastly, you know and respect the values of the company and follow agreed processes and corporate rules. A degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Business and Management Studies or a related field At least 5 years of relevant work experience in technical and/or marketing field, preferably within the Security & Smart Card market Preferably established experience and network within the government identity document market Strong relationship building skills and a focus on partner/customer orientation Proven experience working with international players and in international teams Eagerness for challenges and proactiveness Willingness to travel on a regular basis * Fluent English communication skills; Additional language such Arabic, French, Portuguese, Spanish or German language skills would be a plus Contact: Carolina Moreira #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
