Who You Are
Prior experience in customer service or administrative roles is preferred.
1-2 years of experience in accounting support services; preferred.
High school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
Experience with QuickBooks and/or other ERP systems.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in office software like Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Proficient understanding of business and accounting processes.
Sales Tax knowledge preferred but not required.
Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
Customer-focused attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information.
A professional appearance and demeanor.
What You’ll Do
The Front Office/Accounting Coordinator is responsible for providing general support for the company, primarily in the front office area and the Accounting team.
Greet clients and visitors professionally.
Handle phone, email, and other inquiries, directing them to the correct departments.
Perform clerical tasks like filing, document management, and data entry.
Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and supply levels of the front desk.
Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
Monitor office security by managing visitor access and logs.
Order and maintain office supply inventory.
Offer general administrative support across the organization.
Prepare billings on a daily, monthly, and event-specific basis.
Handle remote deposits and apply received payments.
Follow up on overdue accounts and assist with collections.
Maintain accurate financial records for audit purposes.
Reconcile bank statements and loan accounts.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies with financial transactions.
Assist with fixed asset tracking and record keeping.
Support audits by providing necessary documentation.
Reconcile credit card statements.
Other duties as needed.
