POSITION SUMMARY:
Penske Entertainment is seeking a motivated Motion Graphics Designer to create engaging 2D and 3D content for all company divisions with a specific focus on the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The successful candidate will manage multiple tasks, collaborate with the Digital team on new concepts, and ensure timely delivery while exceeding expectations on all projects.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Create content for all corporate divisions including but not limited to NTT INDYCAR SERIES social channels and event screens, Indianapolis Motor Speedway social channels and event screen, and INDY NXT by Firestone social channels.
- Collaborate with Social/Digital team on projects for appropriate platforms.
- Work with producers and editors to develop animations, graphics, composites and visual effects to complement their work.
- Stay informed on advancements in animation and software resources, as well as industry trends, pop culture, and fan tendencies with the goal of delivering engaging content.
- Ensure client satisfaction with all projects…from budget, creative, and deadline standpoints.
- Additional duties assigned by Penske Entertainment leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Supervisory Responsibilities
- This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Education
- BS/BA in Computer Graphics, Animation, or related field
Skills/Experience
- A minimum of three (3) years professional experience in Motion Graphics required.
- Proficient with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- A minimum of one (1) year professional experience with Cinema 4D is required.
- Blender experience is a plus
- Professional sports experience is a plus.
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong design skills with the ability to help someone else’s vision come to life while also bringing original ideas to our Penske Entertainment Content Group.
- Knowledge and understanding of social media production and delivery including various aspect ratios for each.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, multi-tasking, ability to manage change and balance evolving priorities.
- Commitment to working with people from diverse backgrounds and commitment to cultural competency.
- Ability to uphold and consistently demonstrate the Penske Entertainment Standards.

Travel/Work Hours
- General office hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Longer hours and weekends required for the Month of May and other major racing events
- Odd hours, weekends, nights all possible. Flexibility is key to this position.
- This position is not remote eligible, you will be expected to work full-time out of the Indianapolis, IN offices.
