Are you a passionate and driven Health & Safety leader with a desire to make a real impact in the world of Formula 1?
Williams Racing is looking for an exceptional individual to become our Head of Health & Safety. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering our Health & Safety strategy, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all our employees.
What you'll do:
- Develop and implement our Health & Safety strategy and management systems, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of and ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety regulations and legislation.
- Oversee and conduct risk assessments, identify potential hazards, and implement effective control measures to mitigate risks.
- Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive training programs to promote a safety-first culture across all levels of the organization.
- Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement preventative actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with all departments, including engineering, maintenance, and operations, to embed Health & Safety best practices into daily operations and project planning.
- Prepare and present regular reports to management and regulatory agencies on Health, Safety & Environmental (HS&E) performance, incidents, and compliance status.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance Health & Safety practices, policies, and procedures.
What you'll bring:
- A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, Certified Environmental Professional) would be advantageous.
- Proven experience in a senior Health & Safety role, ideally within a fast-paced and complex environment.
- A deep understanding of Health & Safety legislation, risk assessment methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- A passion for continuous improvement and innovation in Health & Safety practices.

The Williams Group is based in multi acre complex located in Grove, Oxfordshire.
