We have an early careers opportunity to be part of the Composite Trim Shop team in the role of Composite Trimmer on night shift (Mon-Thurs 5pm-3:30am).
The role would suit a candidate early in their composite manufacturing career; who has a solid grounding in trimming and assembly, and is seeking to develop and widen their capability alongside an experienced team.

2-3 years of composite trimming, fitting, bonding and assembly, ideally gained in Formula One, other motorsport or the automotive industry.

An ability to understand and interpret technical engineering drawings, assembly instructions and CAD operations for viewing.

Excellent manual skills and ability to work with hand/air tools.

A willingness and proven capacity to learn and develop.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

A methodical and thorough approach to work.

Good communication skills, both written and verbal, combined with the ability to work well with colleagues.

Be self-motivated, enthusiastic and a dependable team player.

Have a positive attitude and be willing to help throughout the department.

The Key responsibilities of this role are:

Trimming, assembling and bonding of composite components and assemblies to an excellent standard and to a set production schedule.

Proficient use of hand and air tools to achieve objectives.

Perform visual and structural repairs to composite components.
-
Performing TPM on tools and equipment within the Composite Trim department.

Successfully meeting challenging and demanding deadlines.

The ability to multitask whilst remaining organised and focused.

Maintaining consistent high standards.

Being proactively aware of Health and Safety requirements and ensuring they are met.

Dealing with technical challenges as and when they arise and know when to seek assistance if unsure.
