We are seeking an ambitious engineer with a strong interest in technology to join our growing testing team at Racelogic. The role will involve taking ownership of testing and signoff activities of Racelogic products by validating their functionality, performance and reliability. To ensure the high-quality standards set by the organisation are met, you will be expected to understand customer requirements and carry out appropriate testing. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation, test plans, and test tools. As part of a project team, you will provide valuable feedback to developers and project members.
Your Responsibilities:
• Take an active role in all aspects of product testing, from R&D to product release.
• Prioritise and manage workload to meet deadlines.
• Develop and utilise software, firmware, and hardware testing tools for product testing tasks.
• Write and execute product testing plans and strategies.
• Identify and improve product testing tools and processes.
• Contribute to project planning and decision-making.
• Create and maintain product test sheets and documentation.
Requirements:
• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to demonstrate a logical approach to troubleshooting.
• Precise attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Keen interest in technology and the automotive industry.
• A positive attitude and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• As this is an office-based role you will need to live within commuting distance of Buckingham.
• Full clean UK driving license.
Desired Additional skills:
• Exposure to GPS and automotive-based technologies.
• Understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with software testing techniques, including manual and automated testing.
• Familiarity with hardware testing tools, such as oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and multimeters.
• Background in programming would be beneficial. Such as C++ or Python
