Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Define ORV3/MCRPS PSU requirements for 1Φ/3Φ AI front-end power supplies (up to ~50 V or HV outputs such as 400/800 V depending on architecture).
- Select and optimize PFC/LLC and multilevel topologies (e.g., Vienna, ANPC) for efficiency, power density, and manufacture ability.
- Design magnetics/transformers and ensure robust isolation strategy, sensing/protection, and thermal derating.
- Drive redundancy (N+1) behavior, EMI mitigation, and compliance alignment; correlate simulations with lab data.
- Scout new platform concepts and evolving standards; collaborate with digital supervision (PSoC™/XMC™) and Infineon power devices (CoolSiC™,CoolMOS™, CoolGAN™, CoolSET).
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- BSEE/MSEE in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with 6-8 years of experience.
- Demonstrated AC/DC PSU design experience (PFC, LLC, holdup, inrush, protection, EMI).
- Hands-on with power stage simulation, magnetics design, and compliance-driven validation.
- Strong system thinking for redundancy, reliability, and production readiness.
- Open-minded, communicative; able to work under pressure and independently.
