Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Plan, design, perform and evaluate process experiments for new technologies (including DoE´s)
- Take responsibility for the definition of required unit processes for the technologies including process stability assessments
- Understand all important process blocks and their integration
- Join technology development with partner frontend sites in Malaysia and Dresden
- Proactively collaborate with R&D partners in all divisions, frontend & backend, unit process development, integration
- Take responsibility for the entire process chain (process of records) from the bare wafer substrate to final processed wafer until the diced and measured dye
- Develop and characterize new process control structures and test structures for electrical measurements to ensure a stable production
- Coordinate physical/chemical/electrical analyses to gain a deeper understanding of potential failure modes within technology
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- A Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Electrochemistry or comparable
- Several years of working experience in semiconductor industry (ideally R&D background, Si and SiC expertise preferred)
- A solid technical background and expertise in semiconductor technologies, frontend or backend processing and integration
- Practical experience in performing electrical measurements with power device analyzer/curve tracer and wafer probe stations
- Good programming skills (LabView, Python, MatLab, etc.) as a plus
- Project management experience as a plus
- Fluent English skills and German skills as a plus
We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group H (https://www.feei.at/aktuelles/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter-eei/). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
