At Honda, we're looking for individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences to join our team. As a Product Testing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our ATV/SxS products meet our quality, reliability, and customer expectations.
Your primary responsibility will be to plan and execute prototype durability tests, coordinate root-cause investigations, and effectively communicate across the development team. You will also be responsible for managing and coordinating vehicle durability testing, defining durability necessity based on development change points, and identifying, analysing, summarising, and communicating test problems/concerns/results to the development team.
In addition, you will create overall test schedules, manage assembly of prototype test vehicles, perform pre-test inspections, and coordinate team inspection events. You will also operate data acquisition equipment, including setup, instrumentation, data retrieval, and analysis.
As a Product Testing Engineer, you will work closely with the development team to facilitate root-cause analysis and countermeasure activity, report test results clearly at team technical evaluations, and generate improvement ideas/proposals and lead execution.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, experience in the Power Sports industry, and ATV/SxS riding experience. You will also need to be capable of data acquisition and laboratory skills/techniques, mechanical skills, troubleshooting, problem-solving, decision-making, and prioritisation.
