Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Design and Define MV IBC targets (V in/V out, power levels, transient/load-step response, efficiency, size) for AI server power delivery.
- Select non-isolated topology (HSC/switched-cap vs interleaved buck vs hybrid) and develop module architecture including ORing and current-share/paralleling.
- Choose FETs/drivers (OptiMOS™/CoolMOS™/CoolSiC™, EiceDRIVER™) and set switching plan (frequency, deadtime, pre charge/balancing).
- Optimize power path/layout (capacitors/inductors, low-L routing, interleaving, current share) for loss, EMI, and thermals.
- Validate and tune performance (efficiency, EMI, thermal, control/protection), including bring-up and correlation with telemetry(XDP™).
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- BSEE/MSEE in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with 6-8 years of experience.
- Strong power electronics design experience for 48 V and intermediate bus/pol architectures (high-current rails).
- Expertise in multiphase/interleaved converters, current sharing, ORing, and transient performance.
- Comfortable with lab validation and cross-functional bring-up(hardware + control/firmware alignment).
- Open-minded, communicative; able to work under pressure and independently.
