Your Role
This is a regional field application engineering role in the I2 segment,focusing on high frequency power supply applications. The core mission is to drive design-in and design-win success by providing direct technical support to customers and promoting Infineon solutions.
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Resolve technical problems in customer designs and platforms and build up good reputation of Infineon
- Promote Infineon solutions in customer projects to secure design-in and design-win
- Co-work with Sales and Marketing to identify customer demands and promote Infineon solutions
- Provide technical support to customers during development,prototyping, and system evaluation phases
- Deliver technical training and application notes to regional customers and distributors
- Consolidate technical feedback from customer engagements and drive continuous improvement of Infineon solutions
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in power electronics industry, with hands-on experience in high frequency power supply development
- Strong understanding of high frequency power supply topologies such as PFC, LLC, and related control schemes
- Hands-on experience with power devices (SiC, IGBTs, MOSFETs, gate drivers) in power supply applications
- Proven ability to resolve technical problems in customer designs and provide practical engineering support
- Familiarity with Infineon power products and solutions is a big plus
- Good communication skills and ability to co-work with Sales, Marketing, and regional customers
- Willingness to travel regionally to support customer
