Our IT User Support Analyst II is responsible for managing, supporting, and optimizing our identity and collaboration platforms. This role is responsible for administering Microsoft 365 platforms, on-prem Active Directory, and Azure Active Directory while ensuring secure access, high availability, and an excellent end-user experience across the organization.
Key responsibilities include architecting and supporting Microsoft 365 back-end platforms, managing user accounts, licenses, groups, and mailboxes, configuring and maintaining security and compliance features, monitoring service health, and troubleshooting M365-related issues.
As a support resource, this role will often engage with VIPs and other internal customers, requiring excellent people and communication skills. Vendors are often engaged when a solution cannot be found internally or with the third-party MSP.

How You Make an Impact (Job Accountabilities):
- Architect and support Microsoft 365 back-end platforms including SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Manage user accounts, licenses, groups, and mailboxes
- Configure and maintain security and compliance features (MFA, Conditional Access, DLP, retention policies)
- Monitor service health and troubleshoot M365-related issues
- Administer on-prem Active Directory (user/group management, GPOs, DNS, trusts)
- Manage hybrid identity environments using Azure AD Connect / Cloud Sync
- Create and maintain PowerShell scripts and other APIs to automate routine administrative tasks
- Administer Power BI environments, including tenant configuration, security, capacity management, governance, and user enablement
- Architect cloud-based storage platforms for end users
- Architect identity lifecycle processes including user onboarding and offboarding
What You Bring to the Role (Job Qualifications / Education / Skills / Requirements / Capabilities):
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, CIS or related field or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience administering Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
- ITIL Foundations, Microsoft 365 Product Certifications
Competencies Desired:
- Sharepoint, Teams, and OneDrive
- On-Prem AD and Azure AD
- PowerShell and other automation tools
- PowerBI administration and reporting
- Microsoft Print Server Administration
- End User Cloud Storage Platforms: AWS FSx, Azure Files, etc.
- Experience working/managing 3rd party vendors with regards to project/day to day operations
- Strong customer service skills
- Able to teach and coach lower level resources to complete tasks as related to the work requirements
