Job Description
SCOPE AND PURPOSE
To ensure proper realization of our vision he/she will:
- Support design and deployment of logistic sourcing strategy together with commodity manager in the area of road/ocean transportation for Europe,
- Support tender processes for long term business awarding and support day to day expedite requirements from Poland and Czech plants,
- Scout both local and international market in order to deploy new supply base
- Interact with internal clients in order to understand and satisfy business needs
- Manage and update data management systems/price list
- Coordinate contract milestones, technical specs, documentation, deliverables
- Evaluate and monitor contract performance following contract placement to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to determine need for changes.
- Ensure adequate documentation storing and tracking
- Ensure compliance with Brembo procedures
- Manage supply chain risk. Manage the supply base and manage critical supplier performance
- Lead/support RFQ/RFI and tenders
Our requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Management or other relevant fields
- Experience of purchasing on international level in contract and risk management
- At least 5 years relevant experience
- Analytically minded
- Excellent computer skills
- Critical thinking and negotiation skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Occasional domestic and/or international travel
- Fluent in English, Italian will be considered a plus
