We are looking for a skilled Connected Vehicle Systems Engineer to join our team. As a senior engineer, you will contribute directly to Honda's Connected, Autonomous, Shared, Electric (CASE) goals. You will be responsible for leading the implementation of new development items related to Vehicle Network (VN) Electronic Control Unit (ECU) systems.
Your key accountabilities will include project management, engineering specification design, engineering troubleshooting, testing and verification of VN ECU specifications, and improvement and innovation. You will work closely with other engineers and technical leadership to ensure successful project implementation.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 5 years of relevant industrial experience and a bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related STEM field. You will also need to have hands-on experience in automobile communication networks, such as CAN, Ethernet, and related system function and operation.
In addition to your technical skills, you will need to be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
This is an onsite job with one remote workday per week possible with prior departmental approval. Visa sponsorship is not eligible for this position.
