Responsibilities
- Support the execution of the aftermarket commodity strategy, following established guidelines, technical specifications, and service requirements.
- Prepare and maintain basic purchasing documentation and trackers (e.g., RFQ status, quote summaries, sourcing decisions, delivery follow-up).
- Run RFQs, consolidate supplier quotes, perform initial quote comparisons, and prepare recommendations for senior buyers.
- Support cross-functional discussions with engineering, supplier quality, supply chain, and finance to clarify requirements and timing.
- Assist in building simple business cases and cost summaries to support part availability and service needs.
- Help monitor supplier delivery performance and escalate issues related to delays, quality, or service risk.
- Participate in negotiations under the guidance of senior buyers, supporting cost, commercial terms, and minor warranty/service topics.
- Ensure adherence to corporate purchasing, accounting, and compliance processes in all sourcing activities.
- Maintain accurate data in purchasing systems and support periodic reporting for the commodity/aftermarket team.
Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Intermediate to advanced English (able to work in global environment and handle written/oral communication).
- Some experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related area (internship or early-career role acceptable).
- Basic understanding of RFQ processes, cost comparison, and supplier interaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build productive relationships with suppliers.
- Fundamental negotiation and communication skills, with willingness to learn and grow in supplier management.
- Good analytical skills to work with cost data and delivery metrics.
- Strong organization and time-management skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

- Experience in aftermarket or service parts purchasing/supply chain.
- Exposure to global sourcing or work in multinational/virtual teams.
- Familiarity with basic cost-reduction concepts or engineering change processes.
- Proficiency with data analysis and procurement tools (e.g., Excel, SAP/Ariba or similar systems).
