Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as hybrid on NIGHT SHIFT, 8:00 pm to 5:00 AM / 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM . This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM Philippines office three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.
The Role
As an Onboarding - Tier 1 People Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the onboarding experience for new hires at GM. You will lead a team, leverage data to drive process improvements, and ensure a seamless integration for all new employees, fostering a positive and productive start to their careers with us.
What You'll Do

Lead and develop a team of T1 onboarding specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.

Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for Tier 1 employees, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and a positive candidate experience.

Utilize Commercial Acumen to understand business needs and align onboarding strategies with organizational goals.

Conduct Data Analysis on onboarding metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and measure the effectiveness of programs.

Delegate Tasks effectively within the team, ensuring equitable distribution of workload and timely completion of onboarding activities.

Apply End-to-End Project Management principles to design, implement, and continuously improve onboarding initiatives.

Integrate a Global Perspective into onboarding practices, considering diverse backgrounds and ensuring a welcoming environment for all new hires.

Develop and maintain Process-Driven Applications and documentation for all onboarding procedures.

Drive Team Development within the onboarding team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Utilize Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to analyze and optimize the onboarding workflow, identifying and eliminating waste.

Prepare and present reports using Microsoft Power Business Intelligence or AI Tools to communicate onboarding performance and insights to stakeholders.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree

Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably within HR, Onboarding, or a related field.

Strong understanding and application of Commercial Acumen.

Proficiency in Data Analysis and experience with reporting tools like Microsoft Power Business Intelligence.
