Job Purpose
We have an exciting opportunity in our Escapade Team for a Maintenance Supervisor. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our venue and facilities operate seamlessly at the highest standards of performance and presentation. You will work within the Facilities and Estates Team, ensuring the venue remains fully functional, presentable, and aligned with our brand’s commitment to excellence.

- Internal: Maintenance Manager, Escapade and Silverstone Management & Staff.
- External: Guests, Contractors and Vendors

Key Responsibilities
To create and implement a best-in-class and award-winning guest experience through:
General Maintenance & Repairs:
- Perform general building maintenance, including carpentry, joinery repairs, plumbing, ceiling repairs, re-lamping, carpet and flooring repairs, tiling, and furniture adjustments.
- Conduct minor painting, decorating, and upkeep as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
- Assist external contractors as required to ensure repairs and upgrades meet the highest standards.
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergency situations efficiently to minimise disruptions, including guest concerns.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems.
Facilities Operations & Compliance:
- Supervise and coordinate daily tasks for the facilities and estates team, ensuring timely and high-quality completion of all maintenance works.
- Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to ensure maintenance is kept to the right standard for staff and guests.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to implement and execute preventive maintenance programs.
- Conduct regular property inspections, including guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house facilities, to identify issues and ensure standards are upheld.
- Conduct daily site walks to monitor and ensure high standards of cleanliness and tidiness are maintained across the site. Identify and report areas where rubbish, debris, or waste has accumulated, ensuring prompt removal or escalation.
- Document findings from site walks, maintaining accurate records for reporting and audit purposes.
- Ensure regular compliance checks on all building systems and safety-critical infrastructure in accordance with statutory regulations and internal procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including conducting risk assessments and adhering to method statements.
- Liaise with housekeeping, front office, and F&B teams to coordinate maintenance around guest needs.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports using the property’s maintenance management system.
- Work with contractors and vendors to complete maintenance and repair projects.
- Train, develop, and motivate maintenance team members.
- Promote and support Escapade Silverstone’s sustainability initiatives.
Guest Service & Engagement:
- Provide professional, friendly, and responsive service to guests, promptly addressing their requests and concerns.
- Maintain a professional demeanour in all interactions, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
Sustainability:
- To promote, implement and act with the sustainability initiatives as directed by Escapade Silverstone.
Additional ad-hoc responsibilities will arise which will be considered to form a reasonable part of the role and role requirements may be subject to change from time to time.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience in facilities, building, or hospitality maintenance.
- Technical proficiency in carpentry and general building repairs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a passion for excellence.
- Experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel or luxury lifestyle brand is advantageous.
- Familiarity with IT systems and Microsoft Office.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including evening and weekend work.
- Full clean UK driving license is desirable.
