What you'll do
As a Co-op at Valvoline the individual will primarily work in Valvoline’s Cincinnati Manufacturing Plant. The individual will share responsibilities with Plant Engineering, EH&S, and Operations. Project work will include working on Valvoline’s implementation of newest software’s, working on developing and implementing continuous improvement projects, small capital projects/management, and data analytics to help justify resource allocations.
- Participate and lead process and safety improvement projects focused in a production and packaging environment.
- Support global operations and the COE in software evaluation, design and implementation that will provide the manufacturing supply chain improvements in worker connectivity, data analytics, EHS/Quality/Productivity performance and support the Supply Chain 4.0 initiative.
What you need
A foundation in process engineering skills. Prior experience working in the consumer-packaged goods industry - preferred
- Project management/leadership and cross functional process development.
- Lean Six Sigma, or Toyota production system knowledge.
- Experience working in data analytics and data visualization.
