What you'll do
You'll work as a Calibration Engineer within our growing workgroup that includes several possibilities for Calibration Engineers. Depending on the selected role, your responsibilities will be:
- System validation engineers: Follow a validation plan to verify the correct behavior of powertrain components when submitted to a failure
- Powertrain debug engineers: Assist production / end-of-line / dealerships and calibration teams to maintain prototypes and customer vehicles fully operational
- Calibration data management: Assembly, validation and industrialization of calibrations related to powertrain components
- Generic calibration engineers: Plan and perform a wide range of tests within engine bench and vehicle on engine base calibration / emission / diagnostics or driveability
- Calibration pilots: work together with junior and senior calibration engineers to ensure the proper development of the calibration (technical lead - overview of all activities)
Mostly gasoline hybrid platforms within our current projects. Calibration of internal combustion engine and high voltage components.
What you need
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Education: Mechanical /Automotive / or similar Engineering degree
- Masters in Automotive related subjects desirable
- Provided understanding of internal combustion engines and power electronics
- Competences acquired on ETAS INCA, AVL Concerto, Vector Canalyzer, AVL Concerto, AVL Creta, DDT2000; Matlab simulink or similar tools required
- English and Spanish required
- French is a plus
- Driving license B (passenger cars) mandatory
- Minimum 1 year of previous calibration experience. Preferable in hybrid systems
