What you'll do
You will assist in the development and calibration of race and niche road engines and engine components including engine auxiliary systems, chain drive systems, valve train components, oil systems, induction & turbo systems, exhaust systems and engine calibration on multiple platforms in line with engine performance and durability targets set by the Chief Engineer and relevant regulations.
What you need
To succeed in this role, you'll need hands-on experience in race engine calibration both on test cells and in-car, along with experience in base engine development within a respected high-end organisation. You will hold a degree in an engineering discipline and be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, remaining calm under pressure.
Why this matters
This role requires the ability to inspire and manage technical staff to achieve engine group goals, with determination to meet challenging targets within tight timescales. The candidate should have a strong analytical approach to problem solving, a broad understanding of internal combustion race engine fundamentals, and practical experience with engine calibration on the dyno and in-car.
