What you'll do
You'll be a key member of the Dacia Sandrider team, working towards winning the World Rally Raid Championship in the FIA Ultimate T1+ category. Your hands-on role will involve coordinating the department's day-to-day workload, supervising the Sub Assembly team on event and at the factory.
- Maintain and oversee all sub-assemblies including gearbox and differential
- Ensure all lifeing records are maintained and updated throughout the event year
- Support on all events as needed, providing sub assembly and car build support for Dakar and Cross-Country events
- Ensure that the assemblies & vehicles worked on are carefully handled and that all reasonable care is taken to prevent any form of damage being caused to them
- Ensure all problems are reported through to engineering or the management team as necessary
What you need
Our ideal candidate will have a previous experience in a similar Sub Assembly role within Motorsport. You will have good knowledge of gearbox, transmission and motorsport sub assemblies, ideally with cross country or previous Dakar experience. You will have a full UK driving licence and be a team player and a good communicator with teammates, engineers and management.
